Alicia Keys and John Legend performed a duet prior to handing out the Swarovski's Perry Ellis Awards for Emerging Talent to Devi Kroell, Trovata, and Doo-Ri Chung. And elsewhere, Jessica Simpson dubbed Michael Kors "her all-time, all-American favorite," while Dita Von Teese announced that she had "jumped at the chance to wear a Rodarte dress."

The high spirits continued later as guests headed off to an array of after-parties, though Von Teese professed disappointment that her Rodarte pals Kate and Laura Mulleavy had come away empty-handed. "I was going to dance on the table if they won," the burlesque beauty insisted. "A martini glass was going to rise up out of the floor and everything."
