Further to our circular of 14 October 2005 on the above subject, this is to inform the trade that the following country or place has been added to the list of specified countries or places for which the certification scheme for rough diamonds in Hong Kong is effective or as permitted by the Kimberley Process.
The notice amending the List has been gazetted on 6 October 2006.The updated list of specified countries is Angola, Republic of Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Botswana, New Zealand, France, Germany etc.
