LA Fashion Market just days away at California Market Center

"The October Fashion Market is the largest and most highly anticipated fashion market of the year," said Joanne Lee, Director of CMC Events. Lee goes on to explain, "The LA Fashion Market is where the stores shop to purchase the latest contemporary fashions, which customers will see in stores for Spring '07. In addition to a five day shopping spree, attendees come here to trend spot, network and attend exclusive fashion parties."
Coinciding with the LA Fashion Market, the Transit shoe show, running on October 22 and 23 will feature an exciting new addition entitled Accessories at Transit. Premiering at Accessories at Transit are such lines as L.A.M.B., Harajuku Lover, Etienne Aigner Handbags, Jessica McClintock Handbags, La Chica Chic and many others.
"The premiere of Accessories at Transit underscores the CMC's mission of providing a broad selection of merchandise in all categories that will appeal to retailers across the world," said John Kim, General Manager of the CMC.
Leading Los Angeles designers will be available for interviews throughout the Market. On Friday, October 20, 2006, from 11:00am - 5:00pm designers Walter and Carilyn Vaile will be available in the Liza Stewart showroom, B535. Joy Han from Voom will be available in B1213 from 5:00pm - 6:00pm, Anna Paul, B598 12:00-2:00pm, VP of Sue Wong, Josh Homann A557 10:00am- 4:00pm, J. Glenn Kay, Owner of Mandalay A505 12:00pm-5:00 pm, Jessica Mclaughlin from Blind Monkey , Ste. B598 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and David Kahn from David Kahn Jeans, Ste. B577 from 10am - 4:00pm.
