World Gold Council (WGC) plans to organize a B2B event, 'South India Jewellery Show (SIJS)', in Bangalore.
This three-day show is scheduled to be held from February 16, 2007, which will allow enough time for completion of orders before the marriage season and auspicious Akshaya Trithiya rush.
WGC has organized SIJS for smoother two-way interactions between the retailers and the manufacturers.
Students of various jewellery institutes who visit SIJS would also be offered a placement facility.
