The cultural show 'Spectrum and Eclipse' organized by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Gandhinagar on the Sunday night welcomed around five hundred guests.
Professional models cat walked on the ramp wearing specially designed outfits by NIFT students on theme-based sequences.
Gothic styling of costumes and props in vivid colours were seen on the ramp for the 'Witches circle' theme.
For the 'U can't' theme armours, corsets, and outfits made of paper, wood and aluminium foils were worn by models.
The students of NIFT used alternative materials like metal, jute, paper and plastic instead traditional fabrics to design the outfits.
The event proved to be successful and the effort of the students were very much appreciated by the spectators as it was based on unusual themes and the choreography, music and the colour combinations were also different.
