Australian designer Jayson Brunsdon has wowed audiences at New York Fashion Week with an innovative show that featured dazzling garments made from Australian Merino wool.
“Some people still have a perception of wool being itchy, hot and heavy, but new lightweight wool is so different to that. It keeps its shape, is cool and lasts a long time,” said Jayson.
His standing room only New York show featured stylish wool garments that were a testament to the female form – elegant and sexy, and dominated by neutral colours.
Brunsdon said that working with Australian Merino wool allows him to design clothing with perfect drape and fit – clothes that are of impeccable high quality and as such feel amazing next to skin.
The Australian designer has fans in Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Helena Christiansen and Hilary Swank.
