Joanne Lee, Director of Tradeshows and Events for the California Market Center (CMC) announced that the California Market Center is adding runway shows to the March LA Fashion Market. The schedule of runway shows will include Yana K on March 24, Carilyn Vaile on March 25, and Directive's West featuring single on March 23.
All fashion shows will be located on the CMC's back patio, which seats 350 guests. The California Market Center will act as the title sponsor for each event, donating a venue, tent, marketing support and runway.
“We are thrilled to partner with leading designers housed at the California Market Center, along with Directive's West and Single for the March LA Fashion Market,” said Lee. “We are looking to use the March runway shows as a launching pad and expand this concept for the October LA Fashion Market.”
On March 23, 2007 Directives West (featuring Single) will present “California Chic”. The runway show will begin at 9:15 AM and buyer's will have the opportunity to view the latest trends from select Contemporary / Better brands. On March 24, Yana K will present “Back-to-Basics” contemporary apparel collection for Fall 2007.
Cocktails will be served at 6:00 PM, with the runway show starting at 6:30 PM. Carilyn Vaile will present her looks for Fall 2007, which takes “multi-function” to a new level. Cocktails will be served at 6:00 PM and the runway show will begin at 6:30.
