Co-optex exhibition concluded in a very colourful manner as eight students of National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) set the ramp on fire wearing veshti, the traditional handloom fabrics of Tamil Nadu, with beautiful accessories. A fashion show was arranged to restore interest in veshti among new generation.

Young men walked on the ramp on Monday wearing fuchsia and lavender coloured dhotis, tie-and-dye voile kurtas, sequined and gold block-printed tunics to go with pyjamas and semi-dhotis.

Few models wore dhotis and kurtas embellished with beads and sequins.

Men from NIFT, Chennai, endorsed the traditional attire of the southern state and stole the show.
