Promising student designers of International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), a trend setting institute in the field of fashion, displayed their creations in a fashion show titled 'Chic n' chill' at Jalandhar Gymkhana Ladies Club on Monday, May 14.
About 50 dresses like saris, skirts, jackets, Indianised version of kaftans and sun dresses were showcased in five rounds.
Model wearing Saris of net and crochet, jackets made out of summer wear received the biggest applause.
One round named 'lado rani' in the show was dedicated to 'Save the girl child' project.
On-the-spot prizes like Madam Cyan and White Glory were awarded to the deserving contestants.
