Fashion Center BID presents a Designers Forum with Fashion PR powerhouse Ed Filipowski, co-president of KCD Public Relations. The informal conversation is part of the ongoing Art + Design series.
Founded in 1984, fashion's prominent public relations and event production firm KCD is run by Filipowski and Julie Mannion.
Located in both New York and Paris, the company has garnered an enviable client list of high-end fashion houses including Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Helmut Lang, Victoria's Secret, Versus by Versace, Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, Ralph Lauren, Calvin, Louis Vuitton, among many others.

Background: A native of Pennsylvania and graduate of Northwestern University's journalism school, Ed Filipowski is co-owner of KCD Worldwide, International Media Relations and Creative Services Agency - one of the biggest and, arguably, best fashion public relations and marketing companies in the world.
When Filipowski engineered the fashion coup of 1995, getting Gianni Versace's clothes on the cover of Time magazine, Women's Wear Daily called him “a genius.”
