Established in 1984, The Council for Leather Exports (CLE), an export promotion organization, functioning under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, is the apex body of the rapidly growing Indian Leather Industry and is entrusted with export promotion activities and development of the Indian leather industry.
