A new breakthrough in futuristic designs has been noticed in the form of an exclusive three-dimensionally printed dress donned by the famous American Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese at a privately held runway event in New York, reported The Sun.

Inspired by Italian mathematician Fibbonaci, the bold vintage styled body hugging black gown has been created by American designer Michael Schmidt in collaboration with architect Francis Bitonti and the famous 3D printing company Shapeways.

Embedded with nearly 12,000 black Swarovski crystals, the dress featuring a revealing V-shaped neckline is made of powdered nylon, using digital rendering technology.

The wardrobe and jewellery designer Michael Schmidt commands an impressive fan following that comprises the likes of Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Debbie Harry and Madonna.
