Colours & patterns inspire KappAhl's summer collection

Colours and patterns continue to inspire KappAhl's summer collections in 2013.

Classic and colourful summer clothes, like shorts, dresses, blouses, tunics and sleeveless tops, in women's, children's and men's lines, can be combined in numerous ways for great everyday wear and fabulous party outfits.

The bright colours in the women's collection add a splash to the summer's other ranges. Floral patterns are juxtaposed with sporty designs and vibrant colours like cerise, mandarin orange, purple and lime feature on tops and bottoms.

Another part of the range has a more contemporary classic style that is perfect for summer parties and everyday wear. These garments are available in a palette of fresh, neutral tones, such as white and beige, with bursts of bright purple, lime green and yellow. The otherwise minimalist expression is balanced with stripes and diffuse summer flowers in the characteristic shades of the collection.

A multicultural feel is a key look this summer, with a loose-fit kaftan tunic and matching pair of camo shorts. Ethnic-inspired jewellery and a multi-coloured straw bag add the final touch to the look. The style can be complemented with a slouch hat in a matching colour to give a feminine touch.

KappAhl's Hampton Republic 27 collection offers the classic, preppy look with crisp, maritime favourites for the well-dressed woman. Typical details like stripes and sporty prints on the tops and the dominant red, navy and white colours give the collection a distinct feel. Cut-work embroidery, lace trim and bursts of lighter pastels throughout the collection combine to give it an aura of romance.
