Beckhams spray scent in Venice

The choice of Venice to launch the perfume amazed several, as the city of canals, despite its beauty is known for its unhealthy smell.

There is always an overwhelming stench in the air over Venice but this year it's even worse because of the weather.

It seems David Beckham and his wife Victoria can spray some of their scent around the canals to freshen up the air and make it more pleasant.

Beckham's filthy jeans and hobnail boots also gave him the air of someone who might have been shoveling coal on the footplate.

Victoria's look and style were effortless due to designers Miu Miu who dressed her catwalk for their autumn/winter range.

The his and hers aftershave and perfume are called Intimately Beckham and cost £19.45 and bear the Beckhams' logo of their joint initials DVB.

They were officially unveiled at a ceremony at the canal side Palazzo Pisani Moretta recently.
