Nike beat Reebok, Adidas and Slazenger to grab the sponsorship of the Indian Cricket Team.
Official kit sponsorship involves a signed contract for five years, begining January 1, 2006 through December 31, 2010.
BCCI Vice President, Lalit Modi announced that BCCI has become the world's most valued brand for team sponsorship.
Nike bid the highest at Rs196.66 crore for picking up the deal.
