Dutch fashion designer Carry Doorn will present her 'evagodiva!' collection at Moda Manhattan Fall/Winter 2012, scheduled to be held during February 21-23, 2012, in New York.

The evagodiva! women's wear collection is made from 100 percent natural materials and includes scarves, tops, dresses and skirts made using the felt technique.

Carry uses pure natural materials like merinowool fibres, silk fibres, silk chiffon and silk organza fabrics for her designs. She personally handcrafts each of her work.

In making sustainable apparels, Carry places silk and wool fibres over the transparent silk fabrics in various styles and colours, which are put together using the Nuno felt technique. The felt arises when friction is applied while adding olive soap and hot water. The resultant outfit gives a unique look.

Carry stresses on bringing back craftsmanship during the present times of mass production. Over the last five years, she has stressed on creativity and durability in designing and creating her own sustainable line “evagodiva!”

All garments of evagodiva! fashion collection are made from silk and wool fibres, in amazing colour combinations and designs, which makes the collection very feminine, durable and fashionable.

Similarly, the evagodiva! couture & bridal collection is handcrafted and is very different from other traditional bridal dresses.

Blankets, curtain panels and cushions form the evagodiva! interior collection, which currently features the Dutch cows theme.
