Net-A-Porter partners Green Carpet Challenge for a line

World’s premier online luxury fashion retailer Net-A-Porter has teamed up with the sustainable fashion supporting project Green Carpet Challenge (GCC) to unveil a capsule collection of eco-friendly attires, created by an eminent group of five London-based designers.
 
Strictly designed in accordance with GCC’s sustainable style creation criteria, the ethical range features two pieces each from famous labels like Christopher Bailey (the Chief Creative Officer of Burberry), Victoria Beckham, Scottish-born talent Christopher Kane, Erdem Moralioglu and French designer Roland Mouret.
 
All proceeds from the sale of the environment-friendly garments will go to RED, an organisation which finances the Global Fund grants in Africa in the hope to eradicate in-vitro or mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
 
Founded in 2009 by Livia Firth, the wife of English actor Colin Firth, GCC has collaborated with several iconic design houses in the world to bring sustainable fashion into spotlight through promoting the concept at high-profile events like Golden Globe, Academy Awards, Met Ball and Cannes Film Festival.
 
Launched in 2000, Net-a-Porter offers a range of latest women’s designer clothing and accessories from over 350 international labels.
