Stefano Pilati, the creative director of Italian luxury fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna, has tried to breathe in some life into the label’s almost fading high-end women’s read-to-wear line Agnona.

The Italian fashion designer has recently launched a season less collection that can last for years and could be passed along generations under the semi-dormant diffusion brand.

Accentuated with Hawaiian checks and floral prints, the timeless Collezione Zero range is based on an earthy palette of coffee, straw and forest green colours.

Made from luxe cashmere wool, raw silk and light summery cotton, the pieces include thick sweaters, belted jackets, shift dresses, robe-like coats and masculine tailored double-breasted jackets and trousers.

Operational for nearly sixty years, Agnona specializes in stylish, sophisticated handcrafted clothing for women.

Before joining menswear brand Ermenegildo Zegna, Stefano Pilati was at the creative helm of Parisian label Yves Saint Laurent.
