Karl Lagerfeld, the internationally-acclaimed German couturier, harked back to the famous punk subculture of 1970s for the new collection of his eponymous label.

Titled as ‘Karl Goes Punk’, the ready-to-wear range is made from Rocker-favourite materials like leather, tartan plaid wool, cashmere and silk.

Available at Net-a-porter.com and Karl Lagerfeld stores, the ensembles are accentuated with wide zippers and belts.

The collection includes biker jackets, biker-style pants, coats, dresses and T-shirts featuring Lagerfeld’ face.

The 80-year-old designer had established the Karl Lagerfeld label in the year 1974.

Launched in 2000, the luxury e-commerce destination Net-a-Porter offers clothing and accessories from cutting-edge labels like Alexander Wang, Miu Miu, Stella McCartney, Valentino and Victoria Beckham.
