Australian-Ugandan designer unveils ready-to-wear line

Achea Mpong, the women’s design label owned by Australian-Ugandan designer Suzan Mutesi Mufumbiro, has recently unveiled its 2013 ready-to-wear collection.
 
Aimed at people with a love for simplicity and sultry silhouettes, the pieces, which can be easily dressed up or down with or without the help of accessories, are enhanced with mesh accents, leather and bodice style cutouts.
 
Accentuated with sexy sheer backs and full length zippers, the newly launched collection includes midis, pleated short skirts, leather detailed full sleeve calf-length gowns and bodycon numbers in classy shades of white, black and powder blue.
 
A talented Bachelor of Design Graduate from Raffles KvB Institute of Technology, Australia, Suzan is deemed as the African Fashion Icon that Conquered Australian Fashion.
 
Mutesi’s dresses have been worn by Miss World contestants like Sheron Sultan 2011, Miss World Fiji contestant Juneth Ndele 2013 and Miss Philippines as well as X Factor television series participant Bella, guest-star Sophia of the group Three Wishes and Miss Globe 2012 winner Karen Gee.
