The UK-based upmarket department store chain Harvey Nichols has launched a 15-piece streetwear style collection designed in collaboration with seven British menswear designers.

Titled as BEENTRILL, the collaborative capsule range features pieces designed by the likes of Kim Jones, Hardy Amies, Gareth Pugh, Shaun Samson and Adrien Victor Sauvage, Mr Hare and Linda Farrow.

Slated to be available for sale from December 15, 2014 onwards, the range includes a jacquard tuxedo suit featuring a reversible black nylon waistcoat, a double-breasted shearling coat, a black leather biker jacket and a calf overcoat created by the Savile Row design house Hardy Amies.

The British designer, director and photographer of Ghanaian descent Sauvage contributed a full length leather coat, a suede perforated T-shirt and biker jeans to the range, while London-based Pugh created a cape-backed jersey top and winged trouser ensemble for the collaborative design venture.

London’s Central St Martins College of Art and Design grad Kim Jones added a sporty touch to the line with his white cropped bomber jacket and Aertex T-shirt combo.

A press statement from Harvey Nichols describes the line as “Part art collective, part DJ crew, #BEENTRILL#’s image and sound is defined by the frenzy of youth culture found on the digital plains and on the streets of big cities.”

Founded in 1831, Harvey Nichols specializes in international brands of clothing for women and men, fashion accessories and other lifestyle products.
