V&A opens Fashion Pop-Up for Summer Streets Festival

To celebrate the V&A’s year of fashion and the major exhibitions The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014 and Wedding Dresses 1775-2014, a one-off shopping opportunity and a specially curated day of fashion activities will take place in the V&A’s Fashion Pop-Up as part of Regent Street’s Summer Streets Festival.

On Sunday 20 July the V&A Fashion Pop-Up will be at the Quadrant Arcade on Regent Street, offering a special selection of fashion accessories, jewellery, prints, V&A books, stationery and exclusive products for sale, inspired by the Museum’s extensive fashion and textiles collections.

Sonnet Stanfill, V&A curator of The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014 said, “We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to take the V&A to Regent Street as part of this year’s Summer Streets festival. The V&A Fashion Pop-Up will have a fantastic range of fashion merchandise on offer, as well as an exciting programme of free fashion illustration workshops throughout the day.
