The Australian department store chain Target Australia has joined hands with the Italian fashion house Missoni as part of the former’s Designers for Target collaborative.

The Varese-based label, under the guidance of its creative director Angela Missoni, has created a huge 220-piece cut-price collection for the Aussie retailer.

Slated to be available for sale in 60 stores nationwide and online from October 8, 2014, the line will include women’s, men’s, children’s and baby clothing, swimwear and accessories, replete with the label’s signature zigzag prints.

The line will also feature a home textiles range which will include towels, bed linen, soft furnishings, table wear and pet accessories.

Before Missoni, designers like Roberto Cavalli, Zac Posen, Josh Goot and Stella McCartney have designed exclusive collections under the Designers for Target program.

Founded in 1926, Target Australia operates through a network of 183 Target stores and 125 Target Country stores across Australia.

Established in 1953, Missoni is known for its colorful knitwear designs.
