The American fashion designer Alexander Wang has recently offered a sneak peek on his hugely anticipated athletic-inspired capsule collection for Swedish multinational retail-clothing company H&M.

The 30-year-old designer, who also helms the French fashion house Balenciaga, has shared a few pictures of his yet-to-be released clothing line on social networking platform Facebook.

Slated to hit stores on November 6, 2014, the range includes an over sized gray and black jacket for women, a knitted cap with WANG written on it, a croc embossed-style sweater and a heavy long jacket for men.

The sporty collection, which has been modeled by the Belgian model Hanne Gaby Odiele, also features baggy pants, a bra top, a little black dress, a hooded coat and a cutout detailed white number.

Founded in 1947, H & M Hennes&Mauritz AB (H&M) is synonymous with affordable as well as up-to-date and high quality fashion. H&M has a wide product range that is divided into a number of different concepts for women, men, teenagers and children.

The company's clothing collections are created by its own designers, pattern makers and buyers. H&M has more than 104,000 employees and around 3,000 stores in 53 markets, including franchise markets.

An alumnus of the New York City-based Parsons The New School for Design, the 30-year-old Taiwanese-American designer Wang specializes in both men’s and women’s ready-to-wear clothing. (PB)
