The Filipino fashion designer Kaye Morales has launched her Fall/Winter 2015 line inspired from the fighting spirit of the legendary Japanese Samurai.
Replete with both menswear and womenswear pieces, the edgy collection entitled Samurai features an array of chic dresses, gowns and men’s separates enhanced with hand-sewn beads, unique patterns and exceptional prints.The Filipino fashion designer Kaye Morales has launched her Fall/Winter 2015 line inspired from the fighting spirit of the legendary Japanese Samurai.#
While talking about her Japanese warrior inspiration for the line, the young designer says, “Honor, nobility, courage, and strength, depict the characteristics of a Samurai.”
Studied at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London, Morales designs have been featured at several international fashion shows and lifestyle publications like Cosmopolitan and Women’s Health Magazine. She made her US debut at the October, 2014 calendar of Style Fashion Week in Los Angeles.
The Makati City-based fashion designer is known for her special approach to style that intertwines opposing designs with utmost taste – urban street wear with class, punk with sophistication and elegance with a wild streak.(PB)
