Heidi Klum launches Heidi Klum Intimates for Bendon

The German-born American fashion model Heidi Klum has finally launched her much-awaited debut innerwear collection created in collaboration with the New Zealand-based intimate apparel maker Bendon.

The model has created pieces suited for various kinds of women personalities, ranging from the quiet comfort seeking ladies to the flirty, feminine thrill seeking ones.

Inspired from the 41-year-old supermodel’s personal style preferences, the Heidi Klum Intimates features several delicate lace and smooth silk satin finished matching bra and brief sets, enhanced with contrasting straps and tiny silky bows.

Adorned with rose prints, the scarlet, peach, black and cream colours heavy line also offers chemises and long robes.

The Bendon website introduces the range as- “The Heidi Klum Intimates collection exudes femininity, elegance and sophistication, each piece designed with the modern woman in mind. The collection features pieces for everyday along with those special moments in exquisite laces, delicate silks, soft modals and microfibre combined with the very best technology.”

In addition to giving her inputs into the over-all designing process, the mother of four, who also owns a babywear collection with Babies ‘R’ Us, has also posed in advertising campaigns wearing pieces from the line.

The newly formed partnership with Klum has replaced Bendon’s 25-year-long collaborative innerwear design venture ‘The Body’ with Australian businesswoman Elle Macpherson who exited the brand in the end of 2014.

Founded in 1947, Bendon operates through a network of more than 50 stores in Australia and New Zealand as well as an online store that offers more than 1500 products from 12 of its brands. (PB)
