At Waco's Central Texas Marketplace, Beauty Brands, a growing Kansas City-based chain, will place a combination salon, spa and retail superstore.
It will unlock in January with an 8,000-square-foot store, employing about 30 people to work as stylists, massage therapists, nail technicians and employees of the retail section that will carry about 10,000 beauty products.
Waco is a dynamic area, and the company considered the cost and availability of real estate while choosing the store site.
It also craves high visibility, plenty of parking, a busy retail environment with an abundance of female shoppers. Beauty Brands now has 47 locations in 10 states.
Company offers customers a one-stop shop for hair styling, manicures, pedicures, facials, massage therapy, hair-removal services and more.
Stores also carry more beauty products than customers typically find in salons.
