Italian fashion company, the Prada Group has acquired a space in the posh area of Milan for its top brand 'Car Shoe'.
Car shoe is a creation of artisan Gianni Mostile and is famous for its signature moccasin with a tiny rubber sole. The footwear was patented from the Italian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The space was designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, who has designed Prada and Miu Miu stores and also for shoemaker Church and watchmaker Girard Perregeaux.
He decorated the place by using precious materials like briarwood, alcantara, chromium plating, boiserie and leather to give the luxurious and modern ambiance.
Prada bought Car Shoe in 2001 and maneuvered its sales growth with a $21 million turnover in 2005.
