Jackson 5 in Gary, Ind. is to use a “welcome home” symbol designed by the citizens of Gary, which would be printed on the T-shirts, which would be launched as a part of their first licensed clothing line, revering the singers.
Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael all together constituted Jackson 5, but as Jermaine left the group, Randy filled up his vacant place.
Steeve Bohbot, Proprietor of the retail outlet at Los Angeles which has inked a deal with J5 for representing their J5 Collection said that, the symbol developed by the citizens of Gary was a cool sign, greeting a welcome to the family returning back from a tour.
This symbol would be printed on the T-shirts which are going to be launched in next spring season, Bohbot said. He also verified the report published in a magazine citing that the Jackson family and Michael Jackson's estate were about to launch a clothing line featuring T-shirts and Jackets both for men and women.
The group intends to launch its clothing collection which is now visible only on their website j5collection.com. The collection would be made available in particular boutiques and speciality outlets like Urban Outfitters, Kitson Men, Pac Sun, Revolveclothing.com and 80spurple.com, in February.
The T-shirts would for the first time feature Jackson family's exclusive images including the backstage images while on tour, and such other images developed by the fans and artists who worked for the family.
