Guess? reports 41.3% growth in Jan sales

Los Angeles based lifestyle retailer Guess? Inc reported strong retail sales for the month of January which ended on January 28, 2006.

Total retail sales for January were $39.8 million, an increase of 41.3 percent from sales of $28.1 million for the month ended January 29, 2005.

Comparable store sales for the January period increased 31.0 percent.

Guess? Inc designs, markets, distributes and licenses a lifestyle collection of contemporary apparel, accessories and related consumer products.

At January 28, 2006 the Company owned and operated 311 retail stores in the United States and Canada.

The Company also distributes its products through better department and specialty stores around the world.
