Branded merchandiser Hanover Direct Inc announced that it preliminarily reported net income applicable to common shareholders of approximately $0.5 million for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2005 (14 week period), compared to $4.9 million for the same period last year (13 week period).
For the 2005 fiscal year (Fifty-three week period), the Company expects to report net income applicable to common shareholders of $11.7 million compared to $4.9 million in the prior fiscal year (Fifty-two week period).
Hanover Direct Inc provides quality, branded merchandise through a portfolio of catalogs and e-commerce platforms to consumers.
