Scalamandré a high-end family business is auctioning the historic fabric embellished with golden eagles and rosettes that adorned the Blue Room of the White House when Jackie Kennedy enjoyed the status of the First Lady.
Starting bid for this two-yard fabric is around $1,100.
Other items for sale include looms customized to weave fabric for the White House, samples of material woven for a building near the World Trade Center that was destroyed on 9-11, and artifacts from the Scalamandré Textile Museum.
