The petite Keira Knightley will now star in Chanel ads promoting the company's new fragrance Coco Mademoiselle.
These ads with the British actress who earned an Oscar nomination in the 'best actress' category for her role in "Pride & Prejudice" are scheduled to air next year.
The 21-year old beauty, over took Kate Moss who has been Coco Mademoiselle girl since 2002.
Jacques Helleu, Artistic Director, explained to media,that Keira Knightley is a bright, young actress who has already made her mark in a diverse portfolio of films, including her Oscar-nominated performance in `Pride & Prejudice.
Knightley said that she is very excited and proud to be associated with such a renowned brand and step in the shoes of great divas like Catherine Deneuve and Nicole Kidman.
