Abercrombie & Fitch reported net sales of $243.0 million for the five-week period ended July 1, 2006, a 10 percent increase over last year's June net sales of $221.6 million. June comparable store sales decreased 4 percent compared to the five-week period ended July 2, 2005.
Year-to-date, the Company reported a net sales increase of 17 percent to $1.086 billion from $927.4 million last year. Comparable store sales increased 3 percent for the year-to-date period.
