Sportswear and accessories retailer The JIL SANDER Group announces that it posted full-year 2005 revenues of 130.4 million Euro for the 12-month period ended January 31, 2006. The Group's sales results were strong in the Far Eastand US-markets.
During 2005, the JIL SANDER Group underwent a comprehensive restructuring plan aimed at increasing efficiency across the value chain. The program is nearly completed; however, several one-time costs associated with the restructuring plan weighed on the Group's accounts last year.
As a result, the Group posted a net loss of 37.3 million Euro for the 2005 fiscal year. Management forecasts that this loss will diminish in 2006, when the Group is expected to report positive operating profit.
Jil Sander AG revenues amounted to 86.6 million Euro in 2005 while its net loss was 0.5 million Euro.
