Perry Ellis International announced that it will debut its first in-house Gotcha collection, the spring 2007 line, at the upcoming MAGIC show in August 2006.

The spring collection stays true to Gotcha's legacy of eye-catching graphics and apparel that offers accessibility to the California lifestyle.

The in-house launch of young men's sportswear includes knits, wovens, walkshorts and trunks. It incorporates today's trends with an emphasis on a retro-surf inspired look. The walkshorts are technically proficient, and competitively priced.

The collection incorporates distressed textures, splatter paint and text and script writing. A must-see for the season includes the sublimated board short 'Mineral' that flaunts a four color process freehand piece of art that ties into the t-shirt. Hot color combinations for spring '07 include red/black/white and electric blue/black.

Seth Ellison, President of Perry Ellis International's Swim and Action Sports Division said, "Our talented design and marketing teams are surf industry veterans, experienced professionals intimately familiar with Gotcha's reputation as a global brand. They have created a line that captures Gotcha's legacy as the original 'youth meets fashion' boardsports brand.”

Ellison continued, "We are launching our new collection with an aggressive advertising and marketing campaign. Placements in consumer and trade publications along with the rollout of a new innovative website will reinforce Gotcha's strong brand recognition."
