After clinching about 18 De Beers Diamond International awards for excellence in design and craftsmanship, the Diamond brand Damiani of Valenza, Italy has launched its first boutique in China on July 29, 2006.
It plans to open a store in Macau and a second in Hong Kong within 18 months.
It was founded in 1924 by Enrico Grassi Damiani who began designing and producing diamond jewelry.
His son, Damiano Grassi Damiani, sustained the family tradition and nurtured the brand by focusing upon design and promoting technical innovations.
