Adidas to open 'concept' store

Leading sportswear brand, adidas is all set to open its first 'concept' store in New Zealand.

With this store company will have new ways to approach customers and market the brand.

This store will be located at 277 shopping malls in New market, Auckland in an area of 400 square meters.

Resellers of adidas brand are not happy with launch of adidas 'concept' store but this store will prove beneficial to them, informed New Zealand Managing Director Greig Bramwell.

This store will offer wide range of Stella McCartney co-branded women's sportswear, the Mi-adidas programme and custom made sport shoes.

Initially, Mi-adidas will offer only football boots and running shoes will be added in January 2007, informed Bramwell.

Company will provide a six-week training to the recruited people before the store opens.

Adidas has 850 company owned stores and 5,000 franchised store across the world.
