Youth clothing retailer American Eagle Outfitters announced the launch of aerie by American Eagle, a new collection of dormwear and intimates.
The aerie collection is now available in American Eagle stores across the country and on www.aerie.com. It includes bras, undies, camis, hoodies, robes, boxers, sweats and leggings for the 15- to 25-year-old AE girl. Designed to be sweetly sexy, comfortable and cozy, aerie offers AE customers a new way to express their personal style everyday, from the dormroom to the coffee shop to the classroom.
"aerie by American Eagle fits the AE girl's lifestyle from the inside out," said Susan McGalla, President and Chief Merchandising Officer. "Our customers will love aerie for the same reasons they love AE sportswear and accessories-excellent fit, value and style."
In addition to being available within existing American Eagle stores, today marks the grand opening of a stand-alone aerie store in Haywood Mall in Greenville, South Carolina. Two additional stand-alone stores are slated to open this year.
The stand-alone stores will range from 2,200 to 2,800 square feet and combine blue and white interior design elements to create a feminine and warm environment that complements the collection.
Reflecting current and vintage sportswear trends, aerie combines iconic menswear patterns, prints, stripes, and sporty styling with a feminine touch. Fabrics include soft cottons with stretch for comfort and ease. Colors range from rich fall hues, to classics and pastels with pops of bright shades.
