Pod Limited appoints Malcolm Walkinshaw as new CEO

The board is pleased to announce the appointment of Malcolm Walkinshaw, currently Group Sales Manager, as Chief Executive Officer of Pod Limited effective 24th February 2006.
Chairman Mr Gould said that Mr Walkinshaw has had an excellent career previously being General Manager of Mollers Homewares, the best performing division of Pod in recent years.
"Malcolm has been a great performer at Mollers Homewares, and his results speak for themselves. Furthermore he has played a significant role in the restructure of the management team and the board is very pleased to promote him to the top management position in the company," Chairmain George Gould said.
Mr Gould said that Mr Walkinshaw would bring accurate management, an attention to operational issues and a real focus on meeting or exceeding customer expectations, something which is vital to Pod's future success.
Pod Limited is a fashion management group comprised of two fashion clothing companies and a home furnishings company.
