Citi Trends declares fiscal 2006 Aug sales results

Citi Trends Inc reported unaudited sales results for the four-week period ended August 26, 2006.
Total net sales for the four-week period ended August 26, 2006 increased 31.5 percent to $32.6 million compared with $24.8 million for the four-week period ended August 27, 2005.
Comparable store sales increased 13.7 percent for the four- week period ended August 26, 2006, compared with a 20.3 percent increase in the prior-year period. Relocated and expanded stores are included in the comparable store sales results.
Citi Trends Inc is a value-priced retailer of urban fashion apparel and accessories for the entire family. The Company currently operates 256 stores located in 16 states in the South, Southeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
