Sports apparel company Nike has launched footwear taking into consideration the needs and problems of fast bowlers. The new footwear provides extra padding in front to absorb shocks.
Nike examined the fast bowlers problems and requirements by inviting bowlers Shane Bond and Jeff Wilson from New Zealand at company's headquarters, informed Chris Cook, Senior Developer.
Company has launched these shoes in India to capture cricket-crazy Indian market.
This new footwear is of very high-quality and custom made but it will be affordable to only premium class customers as it will cost Rs8,900 a pair.
