Gottschalks appoints Daniel Warzenski as VP, Finance & CAO

Gottschalks Inc announced announces the addition of Mr. Daniel Warzenski as Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) effective September 11, 2006.
Mr. Warzenski succeeds Mr. Kevin Bradshaw. He will report to Mr. Gregory Ambro, Chief Administrative & Financial Officer.
Mr. Warzenski has more than 25 years experience as a Controller and in Financial Management in the retail industry. He most recently served as Vice President and Controller with Robinsons-May in North Hollywood, California.
Prior to joining Robinsons-May in 1986, Mr. Warzenski held various financial management positions at The Harris Company, Carter Hawley Hale Stores, and HRT Industries. He began his career at the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Warzenski holds a BS from Saint Peter's College and received his MBA degree at Seton Hall University.

Gottschalks is a regional department store chain, currently operating 63 department stores and 6 specialty apparel stores in six western states, including California (39), Washington (9), Alaska (6), Oregon (4), Nevada (2) and Idaho (3).
Gottschalks offers better to moderate brand-name fashion apparel, cosmetics, shoes, accessories and home merchandise.
