Steven Madden declares licensing contract with Tracy Reese

Steven Madden Ltd, a leading designer, wholesaler and marketer of fashion footwear and accessories for women, men and children, announced a licensing agreement with Tracy Reese which grants Steven Madden, Ltd.'s subsidiary Daniel M. Friedman & Associates, under the creative direction of Tracy Reese, the exclusive right to manufacture and distribute handbags, belts and related accessories under the Tracy Reese and Plenty by Tracy Reese brands.
The new product lines will be distributed at top tier department stores and specialty stores including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Barneys, and Intermix, among others, beginning in Fall 2007. The agreement is effective immediately and the term is through the end of 2009, with two options for renewal.
