"Being a young successful artist on her way to the top she reflects exactly the target group we intend to reach with our products. We at Montblanc are very proud to have Miss Jenkins as our new brand ambassador."
2006 marks the 100th anniversary of one of the great international luxury brands: Montblanc. It is today a truly diversified luxury goods company offering writing instruments, timepieces, leather, jewellery, eyewear and fragrance.
In its centennial year Montblanc has launched a patented diamond cut in the shape of the brand's world-famous star logo. It is befitting that the brand has this year chosen Katherine as one of its own stars.
As the new face of Montblanc Katherine now joins the Canadian singer, guitarist and songwriter Bryan Adams. For years his songs have spread across the globe. More recently, he has been exploring another side of his artistic vision as a photographer. Having published in Vanity Fair and Harper's Bazaar in 2004 he was even invited to photograph Queen Elizabeth II.
His close-up image was later used as a Canadian postage stamp. Especially for Montblanc, Bryan Adams created a fascinating set of portraits of Katherine Jenkins in her new role as Montblanc's international brand ambassador, capturing perfectly her charming personality and the various facets of her character.
