Pasadena H&M, the first H&M retail outlet in Southern California got off to a flying start with the grand opening of the Tucked between the Tiffany and Apple stores on Colorado Boulevard.
The budget clothing retailer was stocked wall-to-wall with ladies-only apparel and accessories, and there were mercifully few gaucho pants.
Besides, a short, puff-sleeved, button-down, polyester-looking blouse available in plaid, green and perhaps some additional colors for a mere $7.99.
To start with, the store offers only H&M's womenswear line along with opening special in the two storey outlet which looks like a warehouse.
It is likely that menswear line will unveil on the October 26 with opening of the Beverly Center H&M.
Journalists got a chance to take a look at the hipsters sprawled out on the pavement for a sneak-peek inside the store half an hour before the official noon opening.
