JoS. A. Bank Clothiers Inc announces that its total sales for the fiscal month ended September 30, 2006 (fiscal September 2006) increased 14.4 to $46.1 million, as compared with $40.3 million in fiscal September 2005.
Comparable store sales increased 2.7 in fiscal September 2006, as compared with an increase of 12.9 in the fiscal month of September 2005.
Combined catalog and Internet sales increased 35.6 in fiscal September 2006, as compared with fiscal September 2005.
Total sales for the eight months ended September 30, 2006 increased 16.9 to $308.5 million, as compared with $263.8 million in the comparable prior year period.
Also, comparable store sales increased 5.2, while combined catalog and Internet sales increased 23.3 in the eight months ended September 30, 2006, as compared with the same prior year period.
