Everlast Worldwide Inc manufacturer, marketer and licensor of sporting goods, apparel, footwear, and other active lifestyle products under the Everlast brand name, announced an expansion of its license with Slace, S.A. de C.V. of Anahuac, Mexico to include Everlast-branded sport bags, duffels and back packs in Mexico.

Since 2004, Slace has been the Mexican licensee for athletic and casual footwear and in October of 2005 it became the licensee for watches.

The new Everlast sport bags, duffel bags and back packs will launch next year and like footwear and watches will also be available in better department stores, sporting goods stores and athletic shoe stores.

Seth Horowitz, Chairman, President and CEO of Everlast Worldwide Inc., said, "We're thrilled to be able to expand our relationship with Slace. We believe the success we've had in Mexico is an indication of the strength of our brand in this very important market. It also underscores the appreciation Latin American consumers have for the heritage of the Everlast brand.”

“The Everlast brand clearly resonates with the Mexican consumer,” said Yulek Weingers, Slace managing director. “Our initial launch of Everlast footwear and underwear was extremely successful, and we look forward to adding to our product lines with this extension into sport bags, duffel bags and back packs.”
