Topshop has confirmed that Brand Director Jane Shepherdson has decided to quit, explaining that after 20 years of wonderful service she apparently 'needed a change'.
Shepherdson is credited with much of Topshop's success from a cheap street store to a leading retail brand.
This announcement came as a shock as Jane recently had claimed that she was extremely happy with the freedom here, also saying that she would leave the moment she stopped taking pleasure in her work.
Jane's resignation coincides with Topshop signing up Kate Moss to design a fashion line and it is rumored that Jane was not satisfied with this deal.
