Bon-Ton Stores promotes new Vice President & Manager

The Bon-Ton Stores Inc announced that Therese Callahan has joined the Company as Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager, Center Core. Ms. Callahan will report to Anthony J. Buccina, Vice Chairman, President – Merchandising, effective October 11, 2006.
Prior to joining Bon-Ton, Ms. Callahan was President of 1928 Jewelry; Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager of Cosmetics, Shoes, and Fashion Accessories for Robinson's-May Company; Senior Vice President, General Merchandise Manager of Cosmetics, Women's Shoes, Women's Fashion Accessories, Intimate Apparel, Junior Sportswear and Dresses for Robinson's; and various other Center Core positions at May Cleveland, Hecht's and Miller & Rhoades. Ms. Callahan will be responsible for the Company's Accessories/Jewelry, Intimate Apparel, Shoes and Cosmetics departments.

The Bon-Ton Stores operates 271 department stores and seven furniture galleries in 23 states in the Northeast, Midwest and upper Great Plains under the Bon-Ton, Bergner's, Boston Store, Carson Pirie Scott, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's and Younkers nameplates.
